The loveable monster gang return in this animated family comedy sequel starring Selena Gomez, Adam Sandler, and Andy Samberg. After finally earning Drac’s (Sandler) approval, human Johnny (Samberg) marries vampire Mavis (Gomez) and they have a baby. As Dennis – or Denisovich – grows up, Drac is desperate to see his grandson’s fangs appear and will go to any lengths to make this happen. And it’s precisely these attentions that make Mavis wonder if Dennis might be safer elsewhere. But when Mavis and Johnny go to explore the human world, they leave Dennis in the care of his ‘Vampa’, who seizes the opportunity to organise a perilous monster-training boot camp to entice the vampire out of the little chap. Furious with her father for putting Dennis in harm’s way, Mavis decides to leave the hotel for good. But when Drac’s super-strict and super-old dad, Vlad (Mel Brooks) visits the hotel, everything is turned upside down. Will Denisovich ever fang? And if not, how will they explain to Vlad that his great grandson is a human? Also featuring the voices of Steve Buscemi, Kevin James and David Spade. First play on Film4.
