David Harbour, Archie Madekwe and Orlando Bloom star in director Neill Blomkamp’s fact-based petrolhead action flick about a gamer who becomes a bona fide race car driver. Jann Mardenborough is really good at Gran Turismo, the motorsport computer game… er, simulator. His mum, Lesley, thinks it’s fine. His dad, Steve, wishes his boy would get out more. Then Jann gets a call from Danny Moore – a marketing guy who’s come up with the idea of transforming Gran Turismo gamers into real racing drivers in the real world. And he’s enlisted burnt-out driver Jack Salter to train these guys up. But can armchair driver Jann really cut it in the dangerous and adrenaline-fuelled world of racing? Spot the real Jann Mardenborough, who plays a stunt double for the actor playing him.
