Quirky animated family comedy starring Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg and Selena Gomez. Sandler voices the infamous vampire Count Dracula, in a world where he’s a hotelier with a strict no-humans policy. When his wife was murdered by a human mob, „Drac” built Hotel Transylvania as a safe haven for other monster kind and to protect his beloved daughter, Mavis (Gomez), from a similar fate. Over a century later and on the cusp of her 118thbirthday, Mavis asks her dad if she can see the human world. He appears to oblige, but secretly sets up a plan to scare Mavis into rejecting humans too. Drac’s plan is initially successful but inadvertently leads Johnny (Samberg), a human, back to the hotel. Could things get any worse? Well, yes. A romantic spark between Mavis and Johnny lays bare Drac’s worst fears as a protective father. All his monstrous instincts are telling him to oust Johnny as soon as possible. But could it finally be time to rethink the hotel’s human-free policy? Also featuring the voices of Kevin James, Steve Buscemi, Fran Drescher and Molly Shannon. First play on Film4.
