Oscar-nominated animated comedy adventure about a group of prehistoric animals who brave the elements to return a human baby to its father. Sid (John Leguizamo), a goofy and talkative sloth, wakes up to find that everyone’s started to migrate south to avoid the onset of the Ice Age. Afraid of being deserted, he tags along with Manfred (Ray Romano), an embittered mammoth who’s decided he’d rather head north. After stumbling across a human camp that’s under attack by a pride of sabre-toothed tigers and narrowly saving a baby, they’re joined by Diego, a sabretooth who convinces them he can help return the child by tracking the humans. However, he’s actually a member of the same pride – and is plotting to guide them into an ambush. Can Manny and Sid find the baby’s father and avoid the frozen weather? Or will Diego’s plan mean they never make it? Also featuring the voice of Jack Black. And don’t miss the next two films in the series today – Film4 is showing them back-to-back following this screening.
