Animated adventure sequel featuring the voices of Jack Black and Gary Oldman. Now elevated to the status of Dragon Warrior, Po the panda (Black) and his companions The Furious Five – Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Viper (Lucy Liu), Monkey (Jackie Chan), Mantis (Seth Rogen) and Crane (David Cross) – are contentedly honing their martial arts skills under Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) and protecting their home valley. But their harmony is shattered by the evil peacock Lord Shen (Oldman), who has dispatched his army of wolves far and wide to steal metal for use in the construction of a radical new weapon – the cannon. While defending a village from the predations of these wolf-bandits, something about them gives Po flashbacks, suggesting a long-forgotten link between himself and Shen. Then Shen enacts his plan to take control of all China, overthrowing Gongmen City’s kung fu council and readying his arsenal of the new weapons. Po realises he must face Shen, both to discover the truth about his origins and to save the kingdom. Network premiere.
