Family animated adventure directed by Steve Martino, from a screenplay co-written by Craig and Bryan Schulz, respectively son and grandson of Charles Schulz, creator of the celebrated Peanuts comic-strip. Good grief! Charlie Brown seems to be getting everything wrong, even flying his kite, and he’s left feeling inadequate. Unfortunately, his friends aren’t much help: Lucy, offering advice for a price, isn’t exactly encouraging, while Schroeder is obsessed with his piano, and Charlie’s dog, Snoopy, is busy imagining himself as a First World War flying ace taking on his arch adversary the Red Baron. Then a new student arrives at school, and a suddenly smitten Charlie Brown sets about trying to win the red-haired girl’s affections. But, at the school talent competition, Charlie is faced with either saving his little sister Sally from embarrassment, or attempting to impress his new crush with magic tricks. What will he do? Network premiere.
