The African savanna is full of dangers, especially for meerkats. Tafiti should know this. When he brings home a clumsy river hog named Pinsel, much to his family’s dismay, tragedy strikes and his grandfather is bitten by a venomous snake. To save him, Tafiti sets off on a desert adventure to find a legendary blue flower said to have healing powers. Pinsel follows him determinedly, and the two become inseparable on their perilous journey.
