Written and directed by Lee Isaac Chung, this moving drama set in the 1980s follows the Yi family as they leave California to pursue the American Dream. After moving to rural Arkansas with their children, Jacob (Steven Yeun) and Monica (Yeri Han) start a farm, but not everything goes quite to plan. But Monica finds their new life somewhat lacking and persuades Jacob that her forthright mother Soonja (Youn Yuh-jung) should come from South Korea to help with childcare. Really Monica just needs some moral support. As the family grapple with cultural clashes, personal aspirations and financial struggles, can they discover their resilience and live the dream for real? In English and Korean, with English subtitles.
